L-KOPIA just started a 2,680-mile clearance survey in Illinois after some weather delays in the
beginning of February. The first surveying week took us from Jacksonville, IL to Kansas City,
MO. This extensive survey will take us all the way to Laredo, TX and both East and West from
Kansas City. We will update our readers as we go.
This picture displays it all, a L-KOPIA Scanner, an integrated GPS, a red Signal to wait for a crossing train and the Arch tells us where it is taken.
Lars Lundberg of L-KOPIA started the major clearance survey in Jacksonville, Illinois.
LKO received the first 2025-Clearance data from Norway this week. Mats Johansson and Per Arne Pettersson started the post processing and we hope to deliver the data next week.
