Lars Lundberg of L-KOPIA went to Calgary, AB and the Headquarter of CP Rail, for training of CP personnel and upgrade to the latest version of the L-KOPIA Clearance Laser System software. The system is owned and operated by CP and is mounted on an F-350 Hy-rail truck (together with another track geometry system). It was a weeklong training program, with both fieldwork and post processing, and all went very well. The L-KOPIA Laser System will now be used all over the large CP network, both for regular clearance surveys, but also for special tunnel projects. All data will be processed and uploaded to the CP Mainframe by the clearance group in Calgary.
The L-KOPIA F-350 laser truck is still in California, now on night work for NCTD (Los Angeles Transit). The Excursion laser truck is soon leaving for projects in Wisconsin and Nebraska.

LKO Teknik AB is very happy to announce that we were the successful bidder in the Swedish Rail Track Authority’s (TRV) Clearance Survey Bid. It covers a two (2) year contract with a possible extension for two more years.
LKO is also very busy with the present TRV contract and Bo Pellas of LKO has covered many kilometers around Sweden in the month of May.
